Number format for SEQ field in Word 2007

Hi there
I'm trying to automatically number paragraphs with the format [###].
After doing some research, I've discovered the SEQ field and worked out how to add the square brackets.
But I'm having trouble with the number format...
I've tried [SEQ Paras \# ###] and [SEQ Paras \# "000" ] but it's still showing just the one digit.
Am I missing something?

Those  SEQ fields are correct for [1], 2], [3] ... and
[001], [002], [003], ... respectively.
Have you used Ctrl+A (e.g.

Select All), then F9 (e.g.
Update Fields)?

How to Fix Number format for SEQ field in Word 2007 with SmartPCFixer?
